This is not a Study Guide. It is a workbook. There are VERY FEW questions. The questions are laid out more like ... Describe the process of head to toe assessment of the child.
Extremely few multiple choice questions. No rationales. I returned the book. Not worth $5 let alone $17

I bought this book because I needed it for a class I am currently taking. This book in my opinion is very poorly written. There are chapters that I have read in sequence that seem to repeat themselves. If someone is looking for a book to read for their personal use, don't pick this book.

Interesting to say the least!!

I read this book in one day. To say it was interesting is an understatement! I went through varied ranges of emotions from "this guy is insane" to deep introspective thought. I'm an investigator of truth. My motto is to be open to anything but skeptical of everything. I suggest this strategy when reading anything. Steve Rhodes and Ra Uru Hu could be right about some of this information but I also smell a bit of insanity in there too. Ra Uru Hu had a toothache and took some "holistic herbs" the night he goes into an 8 day revelation of enlightenment. The herbs were given to him by a "dangerous""dutch" couple? HUM...There were actual times I busted out laughing. NOTHING should be considered law and gospel or complete truth...EVER!! Everything should be taken into account. The day we aren't open to new discoveries and methods of thought is...the dark ages all over again! I mean no disrespect to Steve Rhodes; I can tell he's got years of information under his belt. However, this has the feel of a whole new religion to add to the mix of already human inspired sacrosanct texts. When someone states that after 2027 the "program" isn't about humans any longer, and paints various pictures of doom and gloom, and this new enlightenment is factual (and very few are gong to "get it"; as if many aren't going to be smart enough? Sounds like manipulation 101 and a bit of suggestive hypnotism too) then I smell a religion. In fact I sense the feel of the Romans and Greeks throughout this book, which he gives marked reference to occasionally. In this evolution of "new age" beliefs one has to be careful that we don't trade one bondage of belief systems for another. I've been lead by a higher force for years without having to have a "guide book" from a Moses talking to a burning bush. Why can't we all? That's not to say that there aren't some points to ponder from this read BUT, clearly, there's a problem when we begin looking for the next savior, prophet or messiah. What lies within us all? The ability to seek truth!! Don't you think we've listened to enough men in history who have had a revelation of some sort? Look what it's gotten us - men superior to women - women the cause of the fall of mankind. Plus, this book suggest love partners sleeping in separate beds as to not let their "aura's" intertwine. I'm sure that could work for some but not for me and my husband of 25 years. Last point, which I could go on and on, speaking of husbands, prophets and messiahs...Ra Uru Hu was living like a wild man on the island for years, just disappeared from society, how familiar is that with these prophet types? Why is it that every religion I've always researched the men have to desert their families and go off into the wild like animals? Ra Uru Hu checked out of society and was suffering from malnutrition, a toothache and god only knows what else. I'm suppose to develop a new way of thinking from his experience? Just food for thought!!:)

Personally, I find the book vindictive of someone who feels they were wronged. There is No Prophecy! What there is, is a axe to grind...The backstory of this attempt to convert Human Design Rave Cosmology into a book that is distorted and just plain wrong, is the evident anger in Ra choosing Lynda Bunnell and Loki over Steve Rhodes to watch over the archives of Human Design...We can now see that Ra was right not tho choose Mr. Rhodes...Save your money and go to Jovian Archives to study rave Cosmology...

Now I Know Why This Book is So Hard to Find

Finally, I found a used copy of this book in Chicago. I had heard it was the "Bible" of animation, but I was skeptical; I have seen too many glorified advertising campaigns sold in coffee table format. (Did we really need any background information on "Hercules?") But now that I actually own a copy and have been reading it - I am really blown away by how much I didn't know I didn't know.
This book gives a perspective on animation I have been searching for for a long time. Short of plunking down $10,000 to attend animation school, this book has helped me understand what is necessary to look for from an artistic angle when I am drawing. Over and over I have been told to draw more, but from what perspective, with what emphasis, to what end? All of that is covered in such an elementary way that I can't believe I never got it before now.
This book is worth all of the praise I have been hearing about it. It was also worth every ounce of energy I have used trying to find a copy to purchase. As for the negative comments I have heard about the reprint Hyperion version of this book, for me it simply doesn't matter. Can I see a difference in the plates? Sure I can. Is the information presented any less valuable or understandable? No. And that's the bottom line for me.
Amazing book. I can't believe it is out of print.
